How can I experience unconditional love?

Has love ever come with strings attached? Perhaps your story is ladened with person after person who has required something of you to earn or deserve their love. Oh, what that can do to your precious heart! Only you know the consequences of this kind of love. Does unconditional love even exist? No human could possibly love completely without some strings attached.

The only One who is able to love unconditionally is God, and His love is available to you for free!!! Remember Mary Magdalene's story in "Magdalena: Through Her Eyes"? Everyone thought she was a violent, crazy woman. She was considered to be untouchable. When Jesus approached her, His disciples told Him, "Teacher, leave her. You should not defile Yourself by even looking at her." Culturally speaking, it would have been acceptable for Jesus to have walked away and ignored Mary Magdalene. Instead, He responded with such unbelievable love and acceptance that His disciples and the others watching were dumbfounded!  Jesus not only healed her from her oppression, but He also spoke directly to her without requiring anything of her. Mary responds by saying, "For years I had lived in shame, but Jesus restored my honor."

Just like Jesus showed love to Mary, God's love is PERFECT and is available to you as a free gift through Jesus. God did not require anything from any of the women in "Magdalena: Through Her Eyes." They did not have to perform or follow rituals. None of them deserved the love and compassion Jesus showed them and neither do we. He loves us first, without ANY strings attached. Will you receive and embrace this extravagant, unconditional love that God has for you today?

"Magdalena: Through Her Eyes," originally released as "Magdalena: Released From Shame," is the true story of Jesus seen through the eyes of Mary Magdalene. Please call 800-432-1997 to order the DVD and the Companion Bible Study, or click here to order online.
